On 12 July, the Gough Map was the subject of a "show and tell" for the TED Global 2010 event in Oxford. 24 "TEDsters" were divided into two groups and given a pre-conference tour of the Bodleian Library. The Gough Map was one of Library treasures made available on the day, and delegates from Australia, Canada, Greece, India, Russia, the United States and the UK were given an insight into the map by Nick Millea. One TEDster was particularly intrigued by the high visual quality of the iconography on the map, and especially its overall consistency in design.
